Beginning January 20, we will begin a rebranding away from ILMBizBuzz.com to ILMWeekly.com. The rebranding will be subtle in content and presentation but is warranted given our continued efforts to deliver valuable local business information to individuals throughout the Wilmington area.
Our focus on weekly content (deals, local business events, and ‘Tunes N Trucks’) has actually been underway for the last several months. By better defining and narrowing our content, we believe that we will be even a better resource for local information!
What will you see during the conversion?
The conversion is expected to take two – three weeks and we plan to continue to deliver daily deals, events, and other content during the changes. Our most popular pages and website format will change very little. Your ability to access these pages, whether via ILMWeekly.com or ILMBizBuzz.com will not be impacted during the rebranding or in the near future as we will continue to have the ILMBizBuzz name linked to the website.
Social Media changes will be implemented immediately; changes to our site content, links and logistics will follow. During this time, there will be some domain inconsistencies, but all pages should be accessible via either domain.
Over the next 90 days, any new business listings will be complimentary to allow for the changes and allow the opportunity for businesses to see our content. Existing paying businesses will have their listings extended free for an additional 120 days.
